You are cordially invited to a gala to benefit communities in Nigeria. Renovate an organization based in the U.S. and Nigeria is hosting their 2nd annual gala with the theme Rethink Education . WCA endorses the event because the organization is doing amazing work in Nigeria for the past three years. We are excited to support the organization which was founded by a young African woman. Ms. Roseline Akintunde a young nigerian woman founded Renovate in August 2009 while attending Rutgers University. She launched the organization along with her friends who are predominantly young Nigerian women with the focus on health and in later years expanded to other development areas of need. Renovate's mission is to improve the plight of education, health and development in Nigeria's rural areas. Some of their educational projects include including campaigns to fund libraries, book drives and educational scholarships. We applaud and celebrate the efforts of these women as they go into their 2nd year of developing their communities in Nigeria. Looking for a way to give back and make a difference? Be sure to support them at their gala this Saturday! What a great opportunity to network, give back and meet other Africans. See you there.
